Agent on Record is a profile hosting service. We build and host professional profile pages for licensed life and health insurance producers, based on information those producers supply to us. We are a marketing platform, not a licensing authority, regulator, or insurance company.

When we build a profile, we confirm that the National Producer Number (NPN) the agent provided matches a producer record in publicly available data. The “Licensed and Verified” badge reflects that check at the time the profile was built.

We do not verify license status in real time. Licenses can lapse, be suspended, or be revoked after a profile is built. The presence of a profile on this platform is not a guarantee that a producer's license is currently active, and it is not an endorsement of any producer or product.

Anyone can verify an insurance producer's license independently and for free through the National Insurance Producer Registry at nipr.com, or through the insurance department of your state. We display each agent's NPN on their profile specifically so you can run that check yourself.

Agent on Record is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NIPR (the National Insurance Producer Registry), the NAIC (the National Association of Insurance Commissioners), or any state insurance department or government agency.

Agents are responsible for maintaining accurate license information on their profiles, including licensed states, license types, and carrier appointments, and for notifying us promptly of any change in license status. Agents are also responsible for ensuring their profile content complies with the insurance advertising rules of every state in which they use it.
